Content maps should include all the skills and topics that leads to mastery of the standard. It should be an outline of the big idea and the subtopics that would help the students understand the big idea. When starting a content map, it’s import to break down the standard completely and begin using the breakdown to create sub topics which would lead to points that must be mentioned that all leads to the big idea.
In the teacher assignments, it is seen that the classes with over 50 students will need to more extensive attention when it comes to differentiation and individualized learning. Also the AB courses will have more content to cover over time so it is vital that the pacing is set in advanced and that there is constant communication to ensure that the students are keeping up.
