Per previous videos, effective feedback must be standards based, instructional, positive, and timely; and that is exactly how the online environment should be treated in order to accomplished the goal for all the stakeholders—which is student success. It’s vital to give authentic feedback because students need that interaction in order to have the confidence to be self-efficient in their own learning. Also, great feedback, could lead to ensuring retention and low drop-out rates of students. Making sure that the instructor give effective feedback can make or break the students experience because they need to understand that their efforts have value and that they are not wasting their time.
